She said that it's inadvisable to have such a milk-heavy drink and one should go for more coffee acidity with an espresso or cappuccino at least, rather than filling yourself up even more. Made sense to me, and I was glad she wasn't just being a snob in some way. You know, I wrote to Ms. Hesser once to ask why the post-dinner latte was such a damn crime.
